The European Industry University Research Association provides a platform for collaboration between Industry and Universities in leading edge research areas. By joining EIURA you become a member of an independent society interested in promoting and facilitating collaborative research relevant to Information and Communication Technology between industry and research institutions in Europe.
EIURA is committed to provide practices and guidelines on collaborative research and assists members in identifying suitable projects and possible collaborators. EIURA provides related information to collaborative research and helps to decide on collaboration types, finding suitable funding sources and successful project management approaches. EIURA promotes, sponsors and develops a number of services, including the organization of workshops, conferences and training courses, the publication of information material, books and journals, research projects in collaboration with Industry and Universities and other Institutes.
EIURA Forum Series
The EIURA Forum provides a series of events on current ICT related topics. The FORUM will provide an ideal opportunity to meet other delegates with their own problems, experiences and solutions. Innovative Research proposals are presented and discussed. Case studies and experience reports will give delegates the opportunity to learn from those who have already implemented world class approaches and solutions.
Submission Deadline: 6 Weeks before Event
We are inviting researchers and practitioners to submit short research proposal concerning innovative research topics with a potential to be developed for submission to FP7 or other international/collaborative funding schemes.

A small number of proposal will be selected for presentation and discussion at the one of the next EIURA Forum. Proposals will be evaluated on their potential for funding, innovative idea and collaborative research opportunities.
It is expected that the proposer will attend the EIURA Forum (for selected proposals, the registration fee will be waived). Aim is to initiate innovative research project, support the building of a consortium and support the proposal development. Presenters of selected proposals will receive valuable feedback on their research proposals, support from EIURA and expert advice.

Raise the profile and recognition of collaborative research within industry, academy and the society.
Develop a platform for members to connect, learn, identify and initiate collaborative research projects
Dissemination of research outputs, practices and experiences
Build and maintain a body of knowledge for facilitating and managing collaborative research
Provide advice for funding bodies and decisions makers in industry and government on research trends and requirements for trans-national university-industry research collaborations
EIURA is a member centric organization, which is managed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is supported by an Advisory Council. The Directors and Advisory Council direct EIURA business and drive membership activity. The work of the Association is carried out by volunteer efforts from its involved members and employees of the association.
The EIURA Board of Directors and Advisory Council meet monthly to discuss recent activities and decisions that are pertinent to the work of the Association. EIURA members can get engaged with the Association by bringing forward questions, suggestions or presenting ideas to the Secretary. All members will have an opportunity to meet at the Annual General Meeting
